St Joseph's Health Centre Toronto
Scope: to add design pieces to their current set of materials, to fit within their existing brand and serve a specific purpose.
Deliverables: infographic, newsletter and a large wall display.
Infographic design
The main purpose of this infographic was to show the unification of the 3 healthcare centres and their shared mission. The structure was thought out to present an easily digestible set of facts that work together with a visual that has depth, clarity and optimism.
Editorial design — newsletter front cover
The structure and look of the newsletter was established already, which I followed, to keep continuity for the readers of this quarterly newsletter.
Editorial design — internal newsletter pages
The main objective on this spread, was to enhance the sidebar text and visually represent how seniors would access care. To aid in the readers comprehension, I created icons and a colour scheme to connect the infographic (left) to the staff being highlighted (right).
Editorial design — internal newsletter pages
(left) The goal for this article was to balance the photos and text while keeping photos as large as possible.
(middle) This article had special attention paid to it with a unique graphic — as the client requested a medicine cabinet.
(right) A typical spread but shows how subtle design attention is payed to each article. I included a tablet image and placed a screenshot of the app described in the article to add dimension.
Graphic Design — Large Wall Display
This large wall display, sized at 14 ft (w) x 6 ft (h) was developed to engage internal staff to participate in filling out surveys. There were three categories for the teams: small, medium and large. Each team had a car and they raced within their category. The car was die cut and writable for the team names. The cars would map each team’s progress and the icons along the top were created to highlight the prizes available to win.
