I’m Wendy Hookey, a graphic designer of over 14 years, creating concept driven design, in both print and digital.

With each design problem I solve, I start by understanding what’s needed and end with producing quality work that hits the mark. I love all things visual, especially a good “before and after”, and combining technical skills with artistry. My role, as I see it, is to start with a clients’ text and turn it into something that makes sense, is visually appealing, and most importantly, effectively communicates the message. Having each design collaboration, be a smooth and easy process, is what I strive for.

I love learning and staying up to date with the latest in design software tools and honing my artistic and creative skills. I have a 3-year Graphic Design Diploma, a 1-year Visual Arts Fundamentals certificate, and finally, a Web Design and Development Certificate — all from George Brown College, in Toronto, Canada.

I currently live in Trenton, Ontario, Canada, you’ll typically find me watching sci-fi, cooking up some plant-based meals, or spending time outdoors.
